Seed is transported to Moorhead, Minn., to Crystal's Seed Processing facility. Seed is sent to Germains Seed Technology for XBEET priming and pelleting, along with additional fungicides and insecticides.
The seed is then packaged at the seed processing facility and shipped to sales agents for delivery to American Crystal Sugar Company growers for planting. >Description: Crystal Beet Seed produces seed in the Pacific Northwest with the basic seed planting in August and the hybrid seed harvested the following August.
