The heart of any tractor is its engine. Yanmar diesel engines, like those used in the YT Series tractors, evolved from a more than 84-year history of compact diesel engine innovation. The three-cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engines rely on state-of-the-art fuel-injection systems and combustion chambers that are powerful and efficient, yet clean and quiet.
The Model YT235 (35 HP) is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission, which offers an unlimited choice of tractor speeds. It has three speed ranges controlled by a left-hand shift lever to quickly find the ideal speed to get the job done. Paired with twin, side-by-side control pedals, operators can choose direction and speed with the touch of a foot.
Additionally, the YT2 tractor’s functions and operational status are all displayed on an LCD monitor, allowing tractor operators instant access to crucial information.
