The Alberta Sugarbeet Growers recently welcomed Melody Garner-Skiba as their new executive director.
The ASBG is a marketing board that represents over 200 sugarbeet growers in southern Alberta.
“We are excited to welcome Melody to the sugarbeet industry,” said ASBG president Arnie Bergen-Henengouwen in a release. “Melody has a strong history of building relationships and association management that will serve our growers and stakeholders well as we move this industry forward.”
Garner-Skiba has worked with Lethbridge Family Services and served as the president of the Lethbridge chamber, but now, she’s going back to her roots. She grew up on farm and later on did some ranching with her family.
