TORRINGTON, Wyo.—Goshen County Economic Development Corporation (GCEDC) and Western Sugar Cooperative have pledged to work together to look at opportunities for the future.
According to Ashley Harpstreith, GCEDC executive director, the two entities met earlier this spring to begin the dialogue. As a result of the meeting, GCEDC was advised by Western Sugar Cooperative of its intentions to operate its packaging, receiving and terminal operations in Torrington with immediate expansion of its powdered sugar line.
