Shareholders for DuPont and Dow will vote next month on the two companies’ proposed $130 billion merger.
Both meetings will take place on July 20, 2016. DuPont’s meeting will be held at its headquarters in Wilmington, Del., and Dow’s meeting at its Midland, Mich., offices.
Both companies still expect the deal to be finalized in the second half of this year.
Following the merger the two companies plan to spin-off three separate publicly traded companies, including an $18 billion agricultural company, a material science company and a specialty products company. The split is expected to happen within the next two years.
