Beet spill causes traffic jam on Minn. highway

CLAY COUNTY, Minn.—A lane along Highway 10 closed briefly Nov. 1 when a truck lost its load of sugarbeets.

The driver made a turn from 21st Street North when the back gate opened.

It caused a minor traffic jam but the lane was clear within the hour.

The driver was cited for an unsecured load.
