ACH Seeds named Jake Boersma as district market manager representing ACH Seeds' Crystal brand for the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative and Minn-Dak Farmer's Cooperative growing regions.
Boersma is a recent graduate from North Dakota State University, majoring in agricultural economics with a minor in crop and weed sciences. He grew up in Olivia, Minn., starting his agriculture career in field test plots and at a sugarbeet operation as a hired hand. He worked as a teller at the Home Town Bank of Olivia, adding strong customer service skills to his experience.
Most recently, Boersma completed an agronomy internship with Maple River Grain and Agronomy in Casselton, N.D. As DMM for the listed markets, Boersma reports to David Braaten, national market manager for ACH Seeds, Inc.
Boersma resides in Alexandria, Minn., and is currently planning a summer 2014 wedding.
