In celebration of Children's Health Month, the EPA is highlighting the importance of protecting children from the health risks posed by pests as well as the potential effects of pesticides.  Protecting children's health where they live, learn, play and work is a priority and one of EPA's most important responsibilities.  Pesticides have widespread uses and may affect children's health in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, child care programs, play areas and agricultural fields.
