Paul, ID--On Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11:00am, Gary Fisk will be harvesting beets with a 1949 Farmall tractor. In addition to this timely harvesting method, a team of mules from the Idaho Mule and Draft Horse Association will be a part of the event as they pull an old harvester. Larry Harper, owner of the mules, is thrilled to be a part of this event. Everyone is welcome to attend and witness this historic process. Gary has been putting on this community event for the past 3 years. "It has grown and now we have a Dutch Over lunch for those attending," says Gary. He also owns numerous antique Farmall tractors that have been restored. "It is a hobby I really enjoy, buying old Farmall tractors and restoring them." Contact Gary Fisk at (208) 431-4341 for more information and directions to the beet field.
