Field Day Held in Aberdeen

Researchers discussed various aspects and new practices for growing potatoes.

University of Idaho researchers held a potato field day at the Aberdeen Research and Extension Center in Aberdeen, ID Aug. 4.

They talked to growers and other industry representatives about fertilization, irrigation, weed control, new varieties, seed-piece treatment and green peach aphids.

The field day also included a tour of several research plots at the center to give growers a first-hand look at the research.
