After a special emergency-use request by the Washington State Potato Commission and the National Potato Council, the EPA has approved use of Tattoo C fungicide.

The action was the result of months of coordination. The final decision to pursue the Section 18 when a full registration had not been given was made in May.

This is a regional-specific exemption for the use of propamocarb hydrochloride plus chlorathalonil to control late blight on potatoes in Washington and Oregon.

Tattoo C is manufactured and marketed by Aventis.
