ACH Seeds was one of the primary sponsors of Michigan Sugar Company’s 2018 Youth Sugarbeet Project Field Day. This event took place July 12 at Michigan State Univsersity’s AgBioResearch Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center near Frankenmuth, Mich. Youth were given the opportunity to become educated about sugarbeets and agriculture, engage in team-building activities and explore different fields during tours.
“This is a great way for kids to get more involved in ag,” said Andy Bernia, ACH Seeds Great Lakes Region manager. “They not only learn something, but have a lot of fun while doing it.”
