Arkoosh Produce Seeks Chapter Seven

Arkoosh Produce Co. of Gooding, ID, has filed a motion in U.S. District Bankruptcy Court in Twin Falls, ID, to change from a Chapter 11 to a Chapter Seven bankruptcy.

Arkoosh originally filed for a Chapter 11 bankruptcy last Oct. 24, 2000. Over 30 potato growers have filed as a non-secured creditors committee through attorney Craig W. Christensen of Pocatello, ID.

Judge Jim D. Pappas has yet to make a ruling on the change of bankruptcy status.

Over 90 creditors have been listed in the bankruptcy petition, including suppliers, equipment companies, and growers.

Now representing Arkoosh are Jed W. Manwaring of Boise, and William T. Thurman and Gregory Adams of Salt Lake City, UT.
