On Sept. 10 the Produce Marketing Association will launch its new consumer web site, located at
www.aboutproduce.com.
Unveiling of the site will coincide with National 5 A Day Week.
The site will help consumers with questions about nutrition, health, and provide fruit and vegetable storage and handling tips, offer produce trivia and recipes. It will also feature a searchable database so visitors can find information on specific produce items.
In addition, the site will incorporate 5 A Day in several ways including providing information on the use of fruits and vegetables for the 5 A Day plan.
