Growers in the Ontario Sugarbeet Growers Association (https://ontariosugarbeetgrowers.ca/) have started the pre-pile sugarbeet harvest for Michigan Sugar Company and we spent some time taking photos and video last weekend on a farm near Oungah, Ontario.
It was a warm fall day and the grower was making good time in his Ropa harvester. He was one of several growers in southwest Ontario who grow sugarbeets on 11,300 acres for Michigan Sugar Company.
