We shared some photos in yesterday’s Sugar Producer Magazine web update (www.sugarproducer.com/2024/09/the-dig-is-on-in) about the pre-pile harvest going on in southwest Ontario, Canada.

The grower in the field being harvested said his sugarbeets are headed to Michigan Sugar’s (www.michigansugar.com/) factory in Croswell, Michigan.

We were in the neighborhood so stopped by on a rainy morning and took a few photos of the factory, which had several piles of beets waiting to be processed.

Here are a few of those shots.
