Dr. Courtney Gaine, The Sugar Association’s president and CEO, opened the 2023 American Sugarbeet Growers Association annual meeting by outlining the latest information about efforts on sugar reduction.
Gaine’s presentation was a bit sobering for the industry as she outlined efforts by several entities to minimize sugar use. She did also share strategies being used to counter those efforts.
