ACH Seeds has named Steve Nash as the new independent sales agent (ISA) serving customers around the Nyssa/Nampa region of southwestern Idaho. Nash has been a part of the sugarbeet industry for several years and will help ensure a smooth transition from retiring ISA Bill Wahlert.
Nash began farming in 1985 after graduating from the University of Idaho with a degree in agricultural economics and mechanization. He and his wife, Leslie, own and operate Nashco Farms, where they raise sugarbeets, wheat, beans, corn and alfalfa, along with Charolais cattle. He is a past board member of the Nampa/Nyssa Grower Association and is currently serving on the board of directors for the Gem Irrigation Association. Nash enjoys working with finances and has also worked as a tax preparer for the past 27 years.
Steve and Leslie are the proud parents of three daughters and have been heavily involved in youth activities including softball, rodeo, 4-H livestock, basketball and other youth activities.
