Amalgamated Sugar Company research agronomist and weed scientist Clarke Alder gave growers an update on herbicide carryover research that the company has been conducting over the past couple of years.
Speaking at the 2023 University of Idaho Snake River Sugarbeet Conference in Burley, ID, Alder talked about the latest results from 2022 and preliminary results from 2023 as well as offered suggestions on how to prevent or minimize any damage caused by herbicide carryover in sugarbeet fields.
