The 2023 University of Idaho Snake River Sugarbeet Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 6, in Burley, ID.
The conference begins at 8 a.m. and will take place at the Best Western Plus Burley Inn & Convention Center.
Presentation topics for this year’s conference include:
- Active carbon/soil health
- Herbicide carryover
- Herbicide resistance
- Cercospora updates
- Soil fertility: phosphorous & nitrogen
- Sugarbeet root maggot best management practices
- IPM overview, showcasing the new website
- Managing Palmer amaranth
Early registration begins Oct. 23 and runs through Nov. 27. Early registration is $30 with registration at the door costing $45.
