University of Idaho researchers observed cercospora leaf spot (CLS) in its trial plots at Parma on the 15th of June.
Although where they observed the disease was in a relatively high-risk area i.e. adjacent to a field where CLS was observed in 2022 it seems to be a little more severe than in 2022. Spores of sugarbeet powdery mildew (Erysiphe betae) were detected on the 10 June meaning disease is likely to occur soon if not already.
