American Crystal Promotes Rosenau To Vice President Of Agriculture

Steve Rosenau has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Agriculture at American Crystal Sugar Company’s corporate office.

In this position, Rosenau will provide strategic leadership in the areas of sugarbeet crop production, sugarbeet receiving and transportation, sugarbeet storage, and sugarbeet seed production and sales.

In addition, he will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the cooperative as a member of the executive team. Rosenau will also continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer of American Crystal’s wholly owned subsidiary, Sidney Sugars.

Rosenau holds an MBA from the University of Mary and Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University. He has been with American Crystal Sugar Company for 27 years and has held multiple positions including Director of Agriculture, Treasurer, Corporate Controller, Business Development Manager, Financial Analyst, Factory Manager, Production Superintendent, and Process Engineer.

American Crystal is a grower-owned cooperative and the nation’s largest beet sugar producer with operating facilities in Moorhead, Crookston, and East Grand Forks, Minnesota; Hillsboro and Drayton, North Dakota; and Sidney, Montana.
