Community is the foundation of success. This couldn’t be more true for sugarbeet growers. ACH Seeds Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed is fostering the connection and pride growers have for their communities by kicking off its new Homegrown Giving initiative. In 2022, the company will donate $10,000 to a selected nonprofit organization in growers' local communities. Potential recipients are nominated by growers, industry experts, and community members alike. A winner will then be selected by a collaborative regional panel of growers and ACH Seeds team members. ACH Seeds will also be supporting local communities in smaller but equally meaningful ways as part of the Homegrown Giving initiative.

What:

Choosing ACH Seeds Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed is more rewarding than ever before. The new Homegrown Giving initiative rewards sugarbeet growers and charitable organizations in the communities they call home with valuable donations on behalf of ACH Seeds’ growers.

When:

The nomination period is open from now until July 1, 2022. Those interested may nominate a local organization for this generous donation by completing the online application found at www.homegrowngiving.com. The winning charitable organization will be announced, recognized and awarded with the $10,000 donation in fall 2022.

Where:

The inaugural Homegrown Giving initiative will take place in the Great Lakes region of Michigan. Eligible Michigan counties include Arenac, Bay, Gladwin, Gratiot, Huron, Isabella, Mecosta, Midland, Montcalm, Saginaw, Sanilac, Shiawasee, St. Clair and Tuscola.
