USDA Reallocates Surplus 2010 Fiscal Year

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) announced the reassignment of projected surplus beet sugar marketing allocations under the fiscal year (FY) 2010 Sugar Marketing Allotment program. Also announced are changes to sugarcane processors' marketing allocations commensurate with the 200,000 short tons, raw value (STRV) raw tariff-rate quota import increase announced on April 23, 2010. All domestic sugarbeet and sugarcane processors will be able to market their complete sugar supply in FY 2010.
