Bernard Azoulay, president and CEO of ATOFINA Chemicals Inc., (formerly Elf Atochem North America Inc.) announced Dec. 18 that the Elf Atochem Agrichemicals Division will become Cerexagri Inc., an independent, wholly-owned subsidiary of ATOFINA.
The division's current management team will operate Cerexagri, with Peter Bromley serving as president and CEO.
Bromley said the new company has been created to reposition the agrichemical business to operate more effectively in a competitive marketplace.
He said Cerexagri will be a vibrant company, focused on the agricultural market. It will be headquartered at 2000 Market St., in Philadelphia, PA.
