Minn-Dak chairman announces appointment of Steve Caspers as interim president.

Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative Chairman Victor Krabbenhoft has announced the appointment of Minn-Dak Executive Vice President and CFO Steve Caspers as interim president, effective Sept. 30.

He will succeed Larry D. Steward, current president and CEO, who announced his pending retirement to the board of directors July 25.

Caspers began his employment at Minn-Dak in 1974 as an accounting supervisor. He holds degrees from the North Dakota State College of Science and the University of North Dakota.

He has played a key role at the cooperative in strategic planning, expansion and legislative duties along with the duties associated with being chief financial officer.
