University of Idaho's biotechnology building is now under construction with a completion date of December 2000.
The three-story facility will provide 45,000 square feet of laboratory and office space equipped to allow UI researchers to use the most modern methods and equipment in their work.
Ormond Builders of Idaho Falls, ID, is general contractor holding the $11.5 million contract. The new building is part of an overall $16 million project to improve UI ag buildings and labs.
