Jet Harvest Solutions, a Florida-based company dedicated to the development and use of agricultural and horticultural products to control disease and decay, as well as bio-solutions for crop health, has expanded its sales team with the addition of Jim Peterson in the Northeast.

Peterson is based in Dresden, Maine, and will primarily handle Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, New England and eastern Canada. Peterson is no stranger to the region, as he has worked in the greenhouse industry as well as chemical sales to both organic and conventional growers over the last 35 years. He is a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill with a degree in ag business.

“I am excited to join the Jet Harvest team,” says Peterson. “They are an innovative company and are forward thinkers, always striving to improve upon existing products and developing new products and applications to offer solutions to growers. Growers of all crops will benefit from their product offerings and product labels.”

The Jet Harvest Solutions product line includes Jet-Ag and Jet-Oxide, pre- and post-harvest EPA-registered peroxyacetic acid products with complete labeled applications from soil sanitation through post-harvest crop disinfection. Jet Harvest has other brand presences with Bio-Save, a post-harvest biological decay control agent; Bio-Soil, a Bacillus-based PGPR formulations; and OsmoPro, a naturally occurring glycine betaine that aids in environmental stress caused by heat, cold, salinity and drought. Jet Harvest products are exclusively sold through AG Chem distributors.

“Jim brings a lot of experience to the Jet Harvest team, and we’re pleased to have him on board in the northeastern U.S. and eastern Canadian region,” says Bill Grant, owner and director of business development at Jet Harvest. “The area has a very diverse agricultural and horticultural industry. Our products are well-suited for the sustainable-minded grower. Jim has a lot of energy and passion and has hit the ground running.”
