The EPA has postponed its scheduled meetings next week with a Scientific Advisory Panel on the cancer causing potential of the weed killer glyphosate.

An announcement on the EPA’s website says there have been recent changes in “the availability of experts for the peer review panel” and the agency believes “additional expertise in epidemiology” will make for a “more robust review of the data.”

The meeting was scheduled for Oct. 18-21 but now the EPA says it will be postponed until later this year.
