Betaseed Inc. announces the 2016 Scholarship Winner in the Western Sugar South area.
Jessica Nelson was awarded the $500 scholarship. She graduated from Mitchell High School and will be attending Western Nebraska Community College and Chadron State College, where she will major in radiology.
Jessica is the daughter of Kellie Wilhem of Mitchell, Neb.
Betaseed awards annual scholarships to students to help further their college education. The scholarship committee selected Jessica based on the essay she submitted on “The History and Future of Sugarbeets."
