BILLINGS, Mont. (AP)—Authorities have identified the worker found dead at the Western Sugar beet-processing plant in Billings.

The Billings Gazette reports that employees discovered the body of 34-year-old Matthew Boyer Sunday.

Boyer's father says his son had worked at the plant for five years.

Police have determined the Billings man's death was not suspicious.

Billings-area director of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Art Hazen, says Western Sugar has a history of safety violations, but he doesn't recall any being in the beet drying area of the facility, where Boyer's body was discovered.

Hazen says the company was found to be in compliance following an inspection in January.

The incident continues to be investigated.
