Betaseed Inc. coordinated and participated in its sixth annual Progressive Agriculture Safety Day event Sept. 17 in Wahpeton, N.D.
The event for children in third and fourth grades drew more 150 students from schools around the Wahpeton area participate in hands-on safety and educational training activities. Staff from the NDSU Extension Service, local businesses, the Wahpeton Fire Department and a police officer shared meaningful advice about how the children can maintain a safe and healthy lifestyle in their community.
“We could not be happier with how it turned out,” said Cody Lehman, key account manager at Betaseed. “All of the students had a great time, all while learning important safety measures. We would like to thank all of the volunteers for their participation. Without them, the event would not have been a success.”
