The Red River Valley Sugarbeet Growers Association announced that Duane Maatz has been named executive director for the association.
Before joining the association, Maatz spent six years as the executive director of the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association and more than 10 years as the president of the Northern Plains Potato Growers Association in East Grand Forks. Maatz received his bachelor’s degree in science from North Dakota State University.
