Far West conference set Jan. 6-8 in Twin Falls

Far West Agribusiness Association has set its 2014 January Winter Conference for Jan. 6 through 8 at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho.

The conference kicks off on Monday afternoon at 12:30 with a general session featuring label updates and speaker Haven Baker of the J. R. Simplot Company, followed by breakout sessions and an exhibitor reception, starting at 5 p.m.

Tuesday's conference begins with a general session featuring Michael Dykes, DVM, of Monsanto, followed by concurrent breakout sessions featuring dryland, irrigated land, new technology, safety and regulatory issues, and management. An evening reception and PAC auction will follow at the Turf Club.

Wednesday begins with breakout sessions and a motivational presentation by Greg Wooldridge, former "Boss" of the Blue Angels.

The conference will include more than 20 exhibitor booths and will conclude at noon on Wednesday.

Continuing education pesticide credits and advisor continuing education credits will be available.
