Valley Agronomics has opened a new fertilizer plant and warehouse facility at Greenleaf, Idaho, east of Nampa.

The facility will store and distribute seeds, crop protection products, liquid and dry fertilizers from a 20,000 square-foot warehouse and associated liquid tank vessels.

Valley Agronomics and its parent company, Valley Wide Cooperative, operate in most of Idaho, as well as eastern Oregon. The Greenleaf facility was constructed for consolidation of operations from Nyssa, Ore., and Nampa, according to Marketing Manager Eric Holbrook.

The plant will have the capacity to store more than 17,000 of dry fertilizer and 1.2 million gallons of liquid fertilizer.

Valley Wide Cooperative has 367 employees, and this new facility will employ 37 workers.
