Every year more than 1,000 agricultural producers travel from across the state and Canada to attend this annual event. There is no registration or fee required to attend.

The Bean and Sugarbeet Symposium is sponsored by Michigan State University Extension, Sugarbeet Advancement and the Michigan Bean Commission.


Bean and sugarbeet growers looking for research based information on improving production, saving money and preventing diseases are encouraged to attend the 2011 Bean and Beet Symposium Tuesday, February 22 at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw, Michigan. After so many years, this high quality event continues to enjoy success and the spacious and accommodating Horizons Conference Center provides the perfect setting. Over 1,000 agriculture producers, agribusiness people, and university researchers travel from throughout the Midwest, Canada and all of Michigan to attend this outstanding trade show and symposium.
