This year looks to be another round of excellent discussion and demonstration on the benefits of strip-tillage. Growing interest continues within the sugarbeet industry and the Amalgamated Sugar Company is keeping up with the demand.

With more and more success in the practice of strip-tillage, interested growers continue to watch and pay attention to the financial benefits.
Robert Downard, Amalgamated Agriculturalist, is coordinating this event again for 2010. the lineup for participating manufacturers is growing to include Schlagel, Strip-Cat, Orthman and CASE. Several new participants include Elmers, Hiniker and Northside Welding.

Northside will be showing the use of the Omni Track, which is designed to be attached on the bar to help with accuracy in following rows as well as other topics with strip-till.
Changing things up a bit this year the field demo will begin at 9 a.m. on a portion of the Devin and Eric Harper Farm south of Burley. Lunch at noon and the seminar to follow all located at Morey's Steakhouse and Event Center at 219 E 3rd N, Burley, Idaho.
