Syngenta Expands Omaha Crop Protection Plant

The $22 million expansion includes $13.5 million paid to local businesses for goods and services. The new unit will allow Syngenta Crop Protection to expand production of products that help growers control weeds, insects, and diseases that threaten crops across America. The new 43,000-square-foot unit requires 15 full-time employees, increasing the total number of employees to 84. Production volumes at the plant have grown significantly over the past few years. More than 20 new products have been delivered from this location during this same three-year period, maintaining high standards of quality and a continued focus on safety.
