Idaho Potato Commission unveiled a new specialty license plate bearing a baked potato complete with a pad of butter, and a universal sticker for labeling individual Idaho potatoes.

The license plate will go on sale beginning Monday, Sept. 3. The plate will be the same standard red, white and blue background as used on traditional plates. "World Famous Potatoes" is in larger type.

The new stickers are yellow with the Idaho state "Grown in Idaho" trademark seal and the state's identification number printed on them. Licensees who want the stickers should contact Patrick Kole at the IPC office in Boise, ID.
