The annual Potato Growers of Idaho summer meeting scheduled for June 4-5 at Elkhorn at Sun Valley will feature some "hot topics" for discussion.

According to John Thompson, communications director of the PGI, discussion on the restructuring of the entire PGI organization and addressing ways of building membership will be on the agenda.

In addition, seeking help from the Idaho Potato Commission to handle such responsibilities as government relations, education, and crop-protection advocacy will be discussed.

Return on the investment of the $2 million Idaho growers put into advertising for its "Famous Potatoes" will also be discussed.
