According to the Washington Farm Bureau Newswatch in an alert issued today, a Seattle attorney is suing McDonald's Restaurant for adding beef flavoring to its french fries.

The attorney states that this is being done despite advertising that the potatoes are cooked in 100 percent vegetable oil.

Attorney Harish Bharti hopes to make it a class action suit that covers an estimated one million Hindus and 15 million vegetarians who live in the United States.

The notice was relayed to the industry by the Washington Potato Commission.
