Jacobson Produce Inc., Bronx, NY, has had its PACA license revoked by the USDA for willful, repeated, and flagrant violations.

Jacobson produce cannot operate in the produce industry until Feb. 25, 2003, and then only if it obtains a PACA license.

The company failed to promptly pay in full $584,326.83 for 153 lots of produce. The company purchased, received and accepted the produce from 28 sellers in the course of interstate and foreign commerce during the period of June 1999 through January 2000.

USDA served the company with a complaint and the company consented to the entry of the decision.

The company's principal-Aaron Gisser-may not be employed by or affiliated with any PACA license until Feb. 25, 2002, and then only with the posting of an USDA-approved surety bond.
