Jon Brownell, a Hooper, CO, grower/processor was chosen to lead the National Potato Promotion Board at the annual meeting held in Denver last week.
Brownell, who pioneered the development and marketing of a fresh-refrigerated potato product several years ago, has been a committee leader for the Board over many years.
He will work with an executive committee and Executive Director Tim O'Connor in developing and marketing the United States potato crop.
