Lindsay Manufacturing recently presented Mark Evans of Montpelier, ID, with a free Zimmatic center pivot irrigation system.

The prize was awarded in conjunction with Lindsay Manufacturing's "30 Years of Excellence" celebration.

"Lindsay erected its first Zimmatic pivot in 1969 and the brand name has become synonymous with quality and excellence with irrigators around the world," said Lindsay Vice President of Sales Bob Snoozy. "We wanted to show our appreciation to all those loyal customers that have given the Zimmatic brand name instant recognition."

Evans name was drawn from the thousands of participants nationwide who registered at trade shows, farm exhibits, dealerships and by mail. As a result of having his name drawn, Evans won the 7-tower Zimmatic center pivot system complete with AIMS Advance control panel and low pressure drop sprinklers, valued at more than $30,000.

"Which one of my friends put you up to this," commented an unconvinced Evans when told he had won the pivot. Once assured that he indeed was the winner, Evans stated, "I can guarantee it will be put to good use."
