The Ulster Farmers' Union in Northern Ireland has organized a farm-to-farm sales plan for stock-feed potatoes after prices plunged.

Growers register their potatoes with the NFU and potential buyers can obtain a list of potential sellers.

The NFU said financial arrangements regarding sales are entirely at the discretion of the buyer and seller. If requested, NFU will supply feed value in relation to current prices for grain and fodder beets.
