A series of hearings is being held throughout the Pacific Northwest to give interested parties an opportunity to comment on the four "Hs"-habitat, hatchery, harvest, and hydropower on the Columbia River.

The issue is water and how it impacts fish, irrigation, hydro-electric power generation, and many other factors. Threatening agriculture is a dam-breaching idea of the four dams on the lower Snake River between Lewiston, ID, and Pasco, WA.

The Recovery Plan Federal Caucus Comment Record will allow testimony through March 17.

The following hearings have been scheduled: Feb. 23, Boise, ID, Boise Centre on the Grove, noon; March 1, Kalispell, MT, Outlaw Inn, 6 p.m.; March 2, Missoula, MT, DoubleTree Hotel, 6 p.m.; March 7, Idaho Falls, ID, Shilo Inn, 5 p.m.; March 8, Twin Falls, ID, Weston Plaza, 5 p.m.
