Spudnik, one of the world's leading potato equipment manufacturing businesses, will hold a "Spudnik Days 2000" Jan. 17 to unveil its new manufacturing facility in Blackfoot, ID.
The open house will be a celebration of the new millennium. The new 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility was built last year. The company's newly introduced harvester-as well as other equipment-is manufactured at the plant.
Technical specialists will be available to answer questions and give demonstrations. Door prizes, food and fun are planned, according to Bruce Nyborg, spokesman.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is being held to coincide with the Annual Idaho Potato Conference which will take place Jan. 18-20 in Pocatello, ID.
The facility is located off the Blackfoot exit of Interstate 15, west on Highway 26 to Pioneer Road, and then left one mile.
